Hackman Capital Partners has expanded its studio production holdings with the purchase of MBS Group for $650 million from Carlyle Group, the company announced.

MBS runs MBS Media Campus, or Manhattan Beach Studios, and MBS Services.

MBS Media Campus is a 22-acre, roughly 587,000-square-foot studio production facility. The real estate was acquired by Hackman Capital in a joint venture with Square Mile Capital Management.

SAN JOSE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Fetch Robotics, the pioneer of on-demand automation, today announced a Series C round of funding in the amount of $46 million. The round was led by Fort Ross Ventures, with additional participation from CEAS Investments, Redwood Technologies, TransLink Capital and Zebra Ventures. All existing investors – O’Reilly AlphaTech VenturesShasta VenturesSoftbank Capital and Sway Ventures – also participated in this round. Fetch Robotics now has raised $94 million to date. The funding will be used for international expansion, to meet accelerating customer demand, and for ongoing research and development.

MoneyLion, the New York mobile bank, raised $160 million in funding, giving it a valuation of nearly $1 billion.

The fundraising which included $60 million in previously unannounced financing and $100 million in a Series C round, was co-led by Edison Partners and Greenspring Associates. It also included a strategic investment from Capital One. To date, MoneyLion has raised $200 million in equity funding. With the latest round its nearing unicorn status, a person familiar with the company said.
